Material with heat resistance + slightly higher mechanical strength than ASA is considered the new generation of ABS – with less toxicity, fewer odors, and the ability to be smoothed with acetone for a smooth finish, but may compromise dimensions. Main advantages: High sun (UV) resistance – excellent for outdoor printing, boxes, automotive parts, engineering parts, and more. Excellent mechanical properties – hard, strong and holds loads better than PETG. Can be smoothed with acetone to obtain a smooth, silver-toned metallic look. Less toxic than ABS and more pleasant to print. Printing instructions: Closed printers – ideal, maintains stability and prevents distortion. Open printers – it is recommended to choose a stable height, strong adhesion and fans turned off. Shrinkage or layer separation is possible just like ABS.
